Indian Air Force is going to organize recruitment rallies for Group-X and Y Trades in different states. Candidates who are looking for career in the Air Force, however, can register for these recruitment rallies.

Indian Air Force Beneivolent Association (IAFBA), New Delhi has invited applications for posts of junior clerks and assistant accounts managers. Eligible candidates can apply for these posts before or after October 22, 2018 according to the prescribed format.

About Air Force Recruitment

Air Force usually has three major branches in which you can choose a career as an officer-Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch.

For brave and passionate young boys who want to be part of the Indian Air Force, they have to apply for the NDA (National Defense Academy).

Candidates are short-listed first under the selection process and after this, the candidates have to undergo a rigorous three-year training program at the National Defense Academy located in Khadakvasala. After this he is given another special training in the training institute, after which he is given the opportunity to serve as Permanent Commission Officer. Under this, the candidate is deployed as a pilot in any of the Air Force stations.

To join the National Defense Academy
If you want to be a part of National Defense Academy, you can join the NDA Examination organized by the Central Public Service Commission (UPSC). This examination is held twice every year at the examination centers located in major cities of the country.

AGE - 16 ½ to 19½ years (at the commencement of the course)


GENDER - male only

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION -Physics and Mathematics should be 10 + 2 pass along with final year students may also be eligible to apply for it.

CDSE Entry
This opportunity is specially for men, which can be applied only for the flying branch after graduation. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the CDSE conducts the examination twice a year.

Training is organized by the FA for the candidates and it is sent to special flying training establishments for successful candidates. This service is also available for all the three armies like NDA.

NCC Special Entry
This is a special entry for the youth who targets the Flying Branch, which is for men only. Under this, the training process is almost like the CDSE. For this, the National Cadet Corps ie NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' holders can apply for this. If you are the NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate holder, then you may have a golden chance to join the Indian Air Force's flying arm.

University Entry Scheme i.e. UES Entry: This recruitment process is for the students of the last year of Engineering, for the technical arm of Indian Air Force ie IAF. This service is also for the men and for this training is given initially in AFA and later at Air Force Technical College (AFCAT) located in Bangalore. Bangalore-based Air Force Technical College AFCAT only issues advertisements for it.

AFCAT Entry: This is the biggest recruitment process for becoming an officer in the Indian Air Force. This test is for both men and women through which employees are selected for the three branches of the IAF ie Flying, Technical and Ground Duty. For the IAF, the ATPTA performs twice every year, as well as an additional exam for ECHT (Engineering Knowledge Test) for the technical branch's aspirants. There are different types of eligibility and training process for different branches.

Metropolitan Branch: This branch is for postgraduate students, under which permanent and short service commissioned services are provided for both male and female.
